This is a website which has been designed with a soul purpose to assist your knowledge of Transport In Flowering Plants.
Plants have two different types of transport tissue. The xylem transports water and solutes from the root hair cells to the leaves, phloem transports food from the leaves to the rest of the plant. Transpiration is the process by which water evaporates from the leaves and out of the stomata, which results in more water being drawn up from the roots.
